Another visit with Bailey: )

After feeling so much better after my visit with Bailey and talking with Dr. Sullivan on Thurs. when I called the clinic yesterday eve. for a Bailey update, I was told by one of the techs. that she was not doing very well. Her platelet count was low even after a transfusion and though she attempted a tail wag now and then, she was lethargic. My hopes after Thursday's visit faded. This apparently is not all that uncommon a week after a chemo. treatment. however. My son, Jon, Clifford and Bella visited Bailey today at the clinic in Bellingham, and she was feeling better. She was happy to see us, ate some treats, but was sad that she did not get to come home with us. She looked longingly at my car when we took her for a short walk. I am going back for another visit tomorrow. I am deciding what kind of treats I am going to bring her : ) I just hope she gets well enough to come back home soon!
